APLNB/ABPNB is an association of professional librarians -- information experts in New Brunswick. Founded in 1992, APLNB is still growing in our informational and technological society. APLNB is a bilingual association and presently has a membership of approximately 60.

The Association's goals and objectives are to promote librarians and library services in New Brunswick by :

organizing professional development activities;
lobbying on behalf of our profession to the decision makers in the province;
promoting improved status for our profession;
fostering closer ties among our membership.
